Growing up on Long Island, I always took the LIRR if I needed to travel to New York City. As I got older, I realized not all stations were created equal. Many do not offer free or non-permit parking, while others are not handicap accessible. I created a web app to visualize which station, depending on your location, is closest, accessible, and offers free parking.
